What's in the box? - Cobo Table Review

After opening the box, you will immediately notice the Cobo steel tablet, four steel sheets of the alphabet, each row of which contains the same letter 10 times. On top of that, the box also contains a screwdriver, extra screws, instructions, discounts and some stickers.

Design - a review of Cobo tablets

To be honest, before I even managed to open the box, the weight of the pills positively surprised me. What I thought at the time was certainly about product quality.

The design of the product is quite sleek, for a start you will open the box and find this heavy steel tablet, the box weighs almost half a kilogram, so that certainly says something. After opening the box you will find almost everything you need, the instructions are simple, the box includes a mini grip for used sheets and screws. The sheets are hard pressed, not just painted, so I expect them to survive the fire quite well. However, in our opinion, the package lacks a lock that is supposedly designed to be used in the hole to lock the product itself, but that is not a big deal since they are cheap and can usually be found in homes most of the time.

All in all, the product design is something we admire, it’s simple, sleek and doesn’t include anything unnecessary, even the logo isn’t too overwhelming in a way that still prevents the product from revealing what it contains.

Setup - Review of Cobo Tablets

To begin installing the Cobo Tablet, you will first begin to unscrew the three screws from each corner using the screwdriver provided in the box.

Once you do that, you can choose the word order you want to provide, the Cobo tablet has two separate tablets, which means there is room for up to 24 words together. And of course, this would usually be a seed, or a 12-word recovery phrase, however, in our case, we will use a simple combination of the two words “best cobo” to test our product.

Once you have removed and inserted the word combination of your choice into the tablet, you can protect the product.

Note: Cobo Tablet requires you to use 4 letter words.

What would a steel wallet review be like without proper product testing?

And that’s exactly what we decided to do.

To begin with, we put a steel tablet directly on the fire inside our wood-burning stove to heat the house, and then leave the product there for a few hours.

And of course, after several hours, the Cobo Tablet survived quite well.

(I also burned my fingers during the process).

The Cobo Tablet is still warm, after a fireproof test.

Cobo Tablet Review – Conclusion

For the end of this review we want to say that we really thought that Cobo Tablet is a very impressive product, the table is solid and has the appropriate quality, which can be seen from previous testing, the price is cheaper than many competitors such as Billfodl and Cryptosteel. However, if we were to design this piece, we would add a separate lock to it, because sending a product without all the appropriate parts for its function simply does not seem complete. Since the Cobo Tablet is still definitely something we could easily recommend to any crypto enthusiast in space.
