In the last few months, Argent has added many amazing features to help them maintain their leading position.
Recently, Argent Wallet has added much-needed gas control features, allowing easy control over network charges (“gas”) while using Argent Wallet. As the price of Ethereum rises, the price of gas makes the network almost unusable for small transactions, and with the gas control feature you are more likely to pay less gas fees at the expense of deferred transactions.
Just to let you know, when the Ethereum network is congested, Argent displays a warning as soon as you open the app (see screenshot below)
With the new custom gas feature, we as a customer have more control over how much we want to pay as gas charges. Especially when we are not sending a time-sensitive transaction, we can always choose the lowest gas fees and save a significant amount of Ethereum transaction fees.

The display shows the estimated time to complete the transaction and the updated fees based on the current network conditions.

Argent Wallet is available for iOS and Android and can be downloaded for free. Unlike other non-custodial wallets, Argent does not require you to make a backup using a seed phrase, but relies on social recovery, which makes it practical for non-tech users as well. If you haven’t used Argent, you should give it a try.
